Vass Zington

This UX project focused on the STHLM SXC Conference, an event where professionals within the IT industry gather to learn, exchange knowledge, and collaborate. Due to the limited number of physical seats, Zington wanted to explore a digital extension of the conference to allow more people to participate remotely.

CHALLENGE

The goal was to design a playful digital conference app for Zington that could be used before, during, and after the STHLM SXC Conference. The aim was to create an engaging and accessible digital experience that enables IT-interested individuals to participate online, while still feeling involved and included. A key challenge was ensuring that digital participants felt like active attendees rather than passive viewers.

PROCESS & RESULTS

Using the design thinking method, the project began with surveys and interviews to understand user expectations and challenges around digital conferences. Insights were translated into problem definitions and design concepts, which were visualized and prototyped in Figma. The result was a playful digital conference app concept supporting live participation, interaction, networking, and long-term learning beyond the live event.
